If you escape main stream publications you will discover that
a North American Union will be formed in the name of securing our maritime borders
against threats. 
Picture major shipyards on the West coast of Mexico bringing in goods, raw materials, etc.. it being funneled up through Texas and Colorado and up into Alberta.
Trans-Texas-Corridor.
The whole thing is going to merge.</description>
