I don&#039;t ever resent paying &#039;fair market value&#039;;  I do resent times I&#039;ve felt pressured into buying something.   Knowing in advance if something is fair market value gives me confidence in making the purchase.

Have you ever read 7 Habits of Highly Effective People?  Covey discusses a 3rd way:  neither party quits the negotiation until it feels like a Win-Win for each person.  I wonder if that could apply to home or car purchases?</description>
