Interestingly there were 3 open houses in my building today.

		<description>$2640 is seriously understating the long-term cost of maintaining a typical condo development, IMHO, and even then, $2640 would be mostly comprised of operating expenses.

So the earning yield is likely far worse than even your simple math implies.  

5-year financing is pretty risky too.  At least in the bubbly US markets, they have true long-term that cannot be called except in the instance of default.  Getting a margin call every 5 years against an overpriced Canadian property can be extremely risky.</description>
