		<description>Baker- thanks for the comments and the story. I agree, it is easier to get a service based business going than one that sells goods which is why even if you sell goods, you should find some way to consult on the side.</description>

		<description>Enjoyed the article.  A little over a year ago I &quot;bootstrapped&quot; a property management business here in the Midwest.  Of course, this is much easier to do for service-based industries, which I strongly suggest for those with passion, but little money.  It worked out great as I brought in a partner that I later sold my portion to as I decided to head in a different direction.

&quot;Bootstrapping&quot; helped teach me a lot about small business, I might have not found out otherwise.  It sharpens you marketing and people skills, as you are constantly in the trenches meeting face to face.  I&#039;ve built up skills and knowledge that will go with me in whatever I decide to do even if that isn&#039;t small business in the future.

I&#039;m relatively new to your blog, but did really enjoy this article.  Keep it up...</description>
