Part of that responsibility is ensuring that positions are within certain percentages of the overall portfolio and following a watchlist of stocks I want to add to or initiate positions in. I usually take a minimum of 20 minutes each day to look over various news, movements in price and to read quarterly reports. I check my portfolios daily, but I don’t obsess over what went up or down.
