		<description>I love that Buffet quote... and it leads me to think of similar elements in life.  Would I rather spend a little time with a fabulous friend, or a lot of time with someone who is rather lame company?  Would I rather give up a little extra to get what I REALLY want, or scrimp and be miserly and end up with something that will only marginally do the job?  This thought process permeates all of business, from retail to banking to insurance to medicine.  It&#039;s a real thought-provoker!  Great post.

As a small example, I once sold a very heavy couch at a good price when the purchaser promised to bring a couple of big guys so that my wife wouldn&#039;t have to help move it.  Taking the time to explore what both sides really want can make a better deal for everyone.</description>
