My stance on the subject is that the best dividend growth stocks would keep rewarding shareholders with dividend raises no matter what the dividend tax policy of the US Fed govt is. There are many companies that have raised distributions for more than a quarter of a century, through high taxes and low taxes, through booms and busts. A tax increase could hurt, but then one could easily invest a portion of their portfolio into an individual retirement account.</description>
