		<description>Two very interesting somewhat contrarian or alternative interpretations you&#039;ve given here: that it&#039;s a bet *against* the US economy (I like your interpretation!) and also that it&#039;s a bet against the green movement.  A while back I read Buffett or someone talking about Buffet&#039;s interest in the railroads because they will do well in a green tech environment due to the possibility of great rail travel and electric rail usage.

But your point about the westward movement and ports is a good one, I think.  Of course it would all be US exports, and this would help the trade portion of the US economy (which is admittedly only one limb of the US economy, so it remains to be seen how much overall beneficial effect it would really have - especially since oil is priced in USD and has become more expensive for US exporters).</description>
